It is our pleasure to introduce ourselves to you in our new blog, The Wyoming Retreat Blog!  We are excited to give updated information about our property in big, beautiful Wyoming that we adore so much.  Let us tell you more about Star Valley Lodge, so you can decide if our unique environment is right for your corporate retreat, wedding, or family reunion.

It all started with our owner, Mike Maholchic.  After he fell in love with the land and decided to purchase the Star Valley Lodge property in May of 2014, Mike began the life-long journey to create an amazing retreat experience in Bedford, Wyoming.

We pride ourselves knowing that Star Valley Lodge is an incredible place for any type of retreat.  Our secluded property is located in Bedford, Wyoming – which is between the towns of Thayne and Afton, and very close to the Salt River mountain range.  The entire Star Valley area is on the mountainous western edge of Wyoming; it is 14 miles wide, 50 miles long and it borders the Bridger-Teton, Caribou and Targhee National Forests. This unspoiled wilderness not only offers our Star Valley Lodge guests immediate access to rivers, lakes and streams, but also a place to see wildlife in their natural habitat. Wild moose, elk, mountain lion, and bear – to name a few!
